The paths of childhood

Les chemins de l'enfance examines the trafficking and exploitation of Bissau-Guinean children in Senegal. While they had come to Senegal to follow traditional Koranic teaching, these children are forced to beg for money in the streets.

We follow these young migrants from their care in the reception centres in Dakar to their villages of origin, where they are reunited with their families and the benches of the community school. Once in their homeland, they can speak freely. Courageous children denounce to their parents the physical and psychological violence they have suffered. The film also highlights the demanding fieldwork that RAO's partners carry out with migrant children on a daily basis.
